Our Team

John Paparo, Lead Photographer

While growing up in Philadelphia, PA, I was lucky enough to work under Christopher Descano for over five years. In that time, I immersed myself in the business and watched him become one of the most sought after photographers in the entire city – that’s where I truly fell in love with photography.

After two years of being married to my wife Kristina, we moved to the great state of Texas where we’ve loved every minute. Deciding to grow the business with continuing success locally in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region, we brought that same passion and professionalism along with us.

Working with people and providing them with beautiful, professional photos is what I love doing more than anything.

Thank you for visiting our site, we’ve worked very hard over many years to bring you what we think are the strongest headshots in Dallas. I’ve been doing this professionally for over ten years and have worked with some of the largest companies in the world. I originally started my business in Philadelphia, and have since expanded into Cowboy country and never looked back.

Building my business as a headshot photographer across this country has been very rewarding, and opened many new doors to all different types of photography which I’m presently hired to do. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to work with you in the future, and provide you with the best photos you could ever ask for.

Education

Aside from countless years studying photography, Christopher Descano is a graduate of the Westtown School, a Quaker boarding school located in Chester County, PA. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Visual and Performing Arts, Kutztown University. He is also a graduate of the Institute for Central American Development Studies in San Jose, Costa Rica. Finally, he holds a Master’s Degree from the Birmingham School of Acting, at the University of Central England located in Birmingham, England.

Philanthropy

In his spare time, he donates to causes close to his heart. Amongst several, to the Nature Conservancy by adopting acres of Costa Rican rainforest, and to the County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit. For enjoyment he trains his German Shepherd “Benson”, to hunt down bad guys.
