As we talked about her need for new headshots, I learned she really wanted them just for a fresh, new look. She had not had her headshots taken in a long time, and along with that, she needed professional headshots for her LinkedIn page.

One of my favorite backgrounds – and one I truly use most often – is the gradient backdrop. It’s just something that’s very professional and slick. We shot over at the studio we work in down in Deep Ellum. The shoot went fairly smooth. Amber and I worked together to overcome some small obstacles to make her photos look even better, such as her attire and hair placement (this is important!) After those minor challenges were out of the way, the shots started flying and Amber was very pleased about the outcome, as was I! Of course, Amber received her entire shoot the very same day.
