Kevin Brown
Kevin was great, the end! Kidding, but yes Kevin was great to work with! And one of the main reasons why? I didn’t have to fight to get Kevin to smile! Yes, I know that may sound like a small matter, but truthfully getting a majority of my male clients to give a REAL smile can be draining.
The quality of one’s headshot can drastically go from “ok” to “great” with a genuine smile – Thanks Kevin! I met Kevin over at the studio to knock out his headshot. Kevin found us through a quick Google search for “headshots Dallas”, and he checked us out. After taking a look at our photo gallery (along with some other photographers) he found what he needed. And naturally, Kevin made the right choice in Descano Photography. People looking for a high quality headshot shouldn’t have to break a sweat trying to find a photographer that puts out quality work for a fair price.
Kevin had a couple reasons he needed to get his headshot done – one being work, (LinkedIn), and the other for some personal business. Kevin also needed us to match a background to an existing website. In the studio, I put Kevin in front of a grey gradient backdrop – as previously noted, one of my favorite backdrops for a very professional look. It’s certainly our most popular. In post production, we added a second, darker grey gradient per Kevin’s request.
Like most of our customers, Kevin was very unfamiliar with the process of getting a headshot done, and he had some questions. Tie or no tie? Buttoned or unbuttoned? Which photo selection should we use for post production? To some photographers, these questions are small and not given much attention, but I love hearing my clients worries, and help to answer their questions. When you feel good, and you know someone gave you their time and helped calm your nerves – as the client when you step in front of the camera, those pictures are going to come out better because of those calmed nerves.
Of course, Kevin received his entire photo shoot the very day. A quick turn around time is something Descano Photography makes a huge effort in doing. Until next time Kevin!
